The Cooperative, Women and Economic Shocks
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/65

The cooperative can be considered as a means of independence for Moroccan women. It is the most suitable enterprise to fight against marginalization, reduce unemployment and eradicate poverty. The recent global context characterized by a health pandemic, price increases and the collapse of vital sectors, has significantly impacted the cooperative sector.
The objective of this paper is to explore the factors affecting the evolution of the women's cooperative sector and to analyze its degree of resilience to unforeseen shocks. To do so, we opted for a qualitative methodology (interviews and focus groups) that follows an inductive path of exploration. From this study, it emerges that the economic shocks recently experienced have had adverse effects on the social and solidarity economy sector, starting with the cessation of activities and the return to unemployment and ending with resistance or disappearance from the market. In addition, women's cooperatives in the region of Tangier Tetouan Al Hoceima (TTA) have shown an unconditional willingness to undertake and achieve emancipation despite the many factors contributing to hinder their advancement.

Public safety training and education in the context of fourth industrial revolution: Dimensions of global knowledge enterprise
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/66

In the landscape of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), the integration of its transformative elements into educational frameworks has become crucial, and the National Police College stands at the forefront of this endeavor. This study centers on public safety training and education within the context of the global knowledge enterprise. With a commitment to advancing human capital and leadership in the face of a VUCA world, the college has strategically incorporated 4IR principles across its curriculum, faculty, pedagogy, learning outcomes, and instructional delivery. Employing a quantitative research design, this study engages in the systematic collection and generalization of numerical data to elucidate the nuances of this phenomenon. Through rigorous analysis utilizing Exploratory Factor Analysis, the extracted factors yield significant insights. The exceptional Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test result of 0.921 and the Bartlett's test result of .000 (< 0.05) validate the robustness of the dataset. The application of Principal Component Analysis for extraction and Varimax with Kaiser Normalization for rotation reveals three distinct dimensions or factors—strategic management, inclusive curriculum design, and collaborative learning environment—that underpin the college's effective public safety training and education. As the institution aligns its strategies with the ever-evolving demands of the 4IR, this research offers a comprehensive understanding of how to equip public safety officers with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the challenges of a VUCA world while embracing the opportunities of the global knowledge enterprise.

Le processus d'innovation et la gestion de risque stratégique (SRM) au sein des PME marocaines :
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/68

http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/69

Today, the crises of the 21st century, and the resulting social recessions, have reminded us of the urgency of protecting, developing and strengthening the role of human capital to guarantee the resilience of firms. Thus, the latter find themselves in the imperative of reorienting the role of human capital and rethinking its management and development. In this context, it is the cooperation and cohesion of the collective that count in the management of performance and the guarantee of resilience. The objective of this work is to seek to discuss the possibilities of intra and inter-firm relationships that promote the protection, development and good management of human capital. It is also a question of reflecting on the strategic factors capable of guaranteeing the resilience of firms in the era of crises and inflationary shocks. Finally, this work examines the repercussions of these strategies which target the management of human capital and the reorientation of its role on the performance of firms.

Leadership competency model for public safety mid-level managers
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/67

This study employed a quantitative research approach, focusing on numerical responses to establish competencies for adaptive leadership in the Public Safety Officers Advanced Course (PSOAC). A survey questionnaire gathered substantial quantitative data, analyzed through Exploratory Factorial Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factorial Analysis (CFA). The study identified four criteria for designing the leadership competence model: Persuasive Vision, People Development Management, Resiliency, and Reflective Practice. The CFA results confirmed the well-fitting model, supported by NFI (.908), IFI (.982), TLI (.970), and CFI (.981) indices above .900, with a RAMSEA value of .046. The adaptive leadership competency model aims to establish clear competencies for the PSOAC, with potential ease of acquisition if the Philippine Public Safety College administration supports its implementation. Recommending the inclusion of this model in a standardized Program of Instruction (POI) can empower Police Captains to respond effectively to 21st-century public safety and security challenges.

Towards new perspectives in corporate governance : A literature review
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/83

Corporate governance is a multidisciplinary concept that concerns the first place the relationship between the shareholders and the manager (separation of ownership and control) in a contractual approach of the agency theory concerns the second place other stakeholders known by the Stakeholders model. In the recent past, this concept has evolved to include other dimensions (cognitive and behavioral) to remedy the inefficiencies of the shareholder approach. This article is a documentary research that explores a range of theories related to a new non-contractual approach to the firm: the behavioral approach to corporate governance. The results show that, like agency costs, there are behavioral costs (internal and external) that are costs associated with behavioral errors due to cognitive or emotional imperfections.

Le secteur postal face aux défis de la disruption digitale
http://www.ijpo.org/index.php/ijpo/article/view/82

Digital disruption has affected most business sectors. The postal sector has seen its core business, physical mail, disrupted by new communication methods. Postal business models have been weakened. This qualitative study of three postal operators, based on their activity reports over a period of 10 years, has outlined the different reactions they have adopted to this situation. Diversification into other sectors and outside national borders are among the main reactions to the disruptive effects. The performance of these operators depends on mastering the evolution of new low-margin businesses.
